The ActiveXperts development team has released the Twitter Toolkit 2.0 beta. The Twitter Toolkit enables your (web) application to post Tweets, list Tweets, browse Twitter users and more. The download features Tweeting examples in C#, ASP, ASP.NET, C++, VBScript and Delphi. Find more information on how to use the Twitter Toolkit and its features in the online documentation. The ActiveXperts Development team is working on a Twitter Toolkit component. This new ActiveX based toolkit will allow your (web) application to write and read tweets from the defined twitter account. The Twitter Toolkit will of course support OAuth authentication method to connect to the Twitters RESTfull API. Using our Twitter toolkit your application will be able to make all requests that are documented in the Twitter API docs. In addition our API will make some of the more basic Twitter functionality a lot more accessible.

ActiveXperts has released a new version of its ActiveXperts SMS Messaging Server product. This release features a great number of database, user interface and usability improvements. In addition it introduces priorities for SMS messages and improved HTTP configuration options. We also added more sample projects. The sample projects are based on our case studies. ActiveXperts provides an SMS-based system to offer aid services to the Haitian people. Through SMS short-codes, people can apply for medicines, water, food, blankets and other stuff. Information is translated, categorized and mapped, and used by Red Cross, US Coast Guard, Google People Finder and other Aid organizations.

After the earthquake on January 12 2010, ActiveXperts Software (Hengelo, NL) and Votident (an ActiveXperts partner since the elections in Haiti in 2009) setup an SMS-based system within 24 hours to register people through SMS short-code ‘200′. People are urged to SMS the status of a relative or friend. Names are matched against the database of all Haitians.

ActiveXperts Network Monitor 7.2 is the newest version of the ActiveXperts Network Monitor product. ActiveXperts Network Monitor has many new features and enhancements. Among the new features are: PowerShell support, support for Remote Commands, improved user interface and many more.

ActiveXperts Software participated in the Microsoft / ICT Studio Summer Course in Albania as a guest speaker. The event was held in Vlore, Albania, from 6-11 July 2009. European and Albanian IT specialist attended the course that was primary focussed on Microsoft Active Directory.
